High ropes courses are challenging because they combine the need for balance, strength and agility while adding the extra dimension of height. Tasks that are easy to accomplish on the ground take on a different level of complexity once you add narrow plank bridges, swaying ropes, cables, steel, natural trees and artificial poles into the mix. At Kincumber, multiple elements on each high ropes course are graded differently and can even be completed in different ways. This makes them extremely popular because they are so versatile at challenging students. Our high ropes challenge courses are suspended more than 2m off the ground but we have a separate primary and secondary courses on site that are age appropriate. All students are required to wear harnesses, helmets and a self belay device.
