Activities Overview

Some people can't wait to fly through the air on one of our famous flying foxes or giant swings; others prefer a casual canoe on Lake Ivan, sailing the beautiful Broadwater at Kincumber or spotting dolphins as they paddle a sea kayak at beautiful Jimmy's Beach. For others, excitement comes from nervously waiting their turn to scale the towering pole that takes them to the awesome 'Power Fan' or taking their leap of faith on one of the high ropes courses. But whatever they're feeling, from expert to amateur, unruffled to uneasy, when it comes to achieving great new things and finding a niche, they're all agreed on one thing, there's no place like a Great Aussie Bush Camp.
With more than 40 on-site activities and off-site excursions at our Tea Gardens site and many more to choose from at our new Kincumber site, a Great Aussie Bush Camp covers a wide variety of educational and experience outcomes.
While no two activities are exactly the same, our activities can be categorised into five separate areas:

Whether you're a teacher or a student, it's amazing the things you'll learn simply by 'having a go'. That's why the Great Aussie Bush Camp promotes the notion of learning by experience and we've seen the results. Through enjoyable activities designed to challenge, adults and students alike can gain confidence with heights, learn the value of team camaraderie, or surprise themselves by acquiring new skills.
The Great Aussie Bush Camp operates on a 'Challenge by Choice' principle. Each participant chooses how much they wish to engage in any activity, meaning every experience will suit the individual at a level they're comfortable with.
And that's just the way we like it, because at the Great Aussie Bush Camp, we know that everyone is a unique individual but we all want to have way too much fun!
