Primary Vacation Camp

It is becoming increasingly difficult to convince parents of the worth of vacation camps. Not only is it an excellent way for students to come together and interact in a completely different setting, but it is a unique way for students to challenge themselves and to develop emotional and gross motor skills. When you begin adding syllabus inclusions the camp looks even more enticing. Anyhow, bring along your students and watch them have an absolute blast, and maybe even learn a thing or two about themselves and each other in the process.

Year 6 Peer Support Camp

Many schools already use our Peer Support programs to compliment their current 'in school programs'. This is because camp is such a wonderful place to begin developing positive relationships and fostering the right kind of attitudes in the students themselves. So why not bring them to the Great Aussie Bush Camp instead!

Through experiential learning and spelling workshops, Year 6 students will develop practical personal skills that will provide the basis for a more successful Primary Peer Support Program. The program is designed to run in conjunction with a school based program.

Our Peer Support Camps offer Peer Support Leaders the opportunity to establish rapport with their groups and to develop and implement leadership skills. Students are able to develop friendships, group cohesion, enhance their self esteem and identify with their Peer Support Leaders and Peer Group. The Peer Support Camp also establishes positive Teacher/Student relations in a fun and exciting manner.

So bring the Year 6's along and get to know them in a way that you can't in the classroom.
